Both of the creators of Gogzmer Media have been doing web development in some form
or another for the past 7 years, ranging from full-fledged database-driven web
applications to My Space profile re-designs. Rick was awarded the National
Federation of Independent Business 2005 Youth Entrepreneur award for starting a
chain maille jewelry and apparel company in High School, and Anthony has previously
formed an LLC, which also did web design, in Florida by himself.
Gogzmer Media has been in business since September 2nd, 2008 but we did not start
taking the company serious, as in it was simply a hobby, until January of 2009.
Since January of 2009, Gogzmer Media has obtained a spot within the Student
Business Incubator, worked on the design for a PowerPoint for American Family
Insurance and helped with all facets of the presentation, featured in the Capitol
City Hues newspaper for it’s business plan, and has gained the respect of many
young entrepreneurs on campus, which is clear through our contracts with many of
them. Within 3 months of operation, we already started our expansion.
Gogzmer Media has been recognized for by the Badger Herald, the Capital Hues and
the Daily Cardinal. We have also been openly accepted by the Office of Corporate
Relations of the University of Wisconsin - Madison who awared Gogzmer Media a grant
for new hardware in September of 2009.
